Scotts Valley

Laid-back and home to much of Silicon Valley’s workforce.

Welcome to Scotts Valley

Offering an excellent commute to Silicon Valley and great schools, this family neighborhood is quiet and suburban

Located in the western region of the Santa Cruz Mountains, this small, suburban enclave was once a stagecoach stop between San Jose and Santa Cruz. Now, it serves as a tranquil vacation spot and bedroom community for Silicon Valley commuters.
Boasting miles of walking and biking trails, a pet-friendly nature preserve, and a public Skypark were picnic grounds, ball fields, playgrounds, a skate park, tennis courts, and walking trails abound, the area is also well known for its casual gourmet eateries, popular farmers market, and historic landmarks.
Often referred to as a bedroom community to San Jose and the industries of Silicon Valley, Scotts Valley offers a top-ranked school district and idyllic small-town atmosphere. Just 10 minutes from the beaches in nearby Santa Cruz, this town eludes the area’s thick, wet fog, thanks to its below-level valley location. In close proximity to a couple of state parks, this area is surrounded by many magnificent redwood trees and is populated by some of the country’s top wineries.
